Often it's said we don't know
what we have until it's gone.
But I believe we don't always know
what we want until we're home.

Some of us dream of riches
of notority and of fame
We dream oft of recognition
to be loved merely for our name

We think we can find happiness
in these dreams that most pursue
And I'll admit I was one of them
Yet now I say to you

That for me happiness has been found
in what I have right here
In friends with whom I've shared
these past wonderful years

The joy that's come from interacting
in each other's days
The peace I find in writing
and reaching in many ways

The love, support and friendship
the family I've found at last
All are cherished treasures
That can not be surpassed

Thank you my friends for all you've shared
and for your support that's ever true

Wow! Four years! I can't believe it. I never thought it would last. I figured at some point in time, the friendships would fade,the jokes would fade and I'd run out of things to write about. Instead, I've got so many creative ideas, so many true and wonderful friends out there and in these years have found the rare gift of true love.

Thank you all for your friendships, love, support in my writing and passing on my pages.
