Angels From The Start

Giving, learning, taking, sharing
Strangers once we were
Leaning, laughing, crying, caring
Friends we became for sure

Loving, fighting, coming, going
Family we soon became
Living, thinking, praying , dreaming
So much more than a name

Nagging, smiling, joking, teasing
Adding much to our every day
Reaching, touching, needing, being
Would have it no other way

"Friends" you say? So much more I reply
Although strangers once they be
Family now and angels who
Always remain a part of me

Doing online the same things as "real life"
Not missing a laugh or a tear
As real as any offline friends
Ever ready when needed to be near

I prayed for a way to reach out my hand
And help those who could hear my heart
God answered my prayers with giving me
Angels from the start
