*Please excuse the mess once again while I finish updating a few pages and graphics. I know a couple of pages are down, but there is plenty here to keep you reading, thinking and dreaming for quite awwile. Be sure to stop back and see the finsihed product.

Introduction

Hi. My name is Cheri' C Carlson, and this is my home page. The place where all my work is stored, thus my baby.

Why "Purple Unicorn"? Because a purple unicorn would be a rare and unique find indeed, the same as the many people I have met on here. These people, who's names fill my address book, have become as dear to me as the people in my offline world. They inspire me, encourage, hold my hand and dry my tears, and kick me in the behind to get me going when I need it.

I create pages with recommended links for others to pass around, poetry, inspirational pages and often what I refer to as "ramblings.
I try to keep the pages uplifting and fun as well as inspiring. What I mean by Inspiring is...inspire people to think (about the people and the world around them), pray (to the One who makes it all possible), dream (and follow those dreams) and believe (that they are indeed special for they are specially made). I have often said want to make grown men cry and atheists pray. No offense to either atheists nor men. :-) )

My friends on here keep me going with feedback. They send me wonderful material for my pages and do searches for me. Sometimes I get burnt out, despite all of their help. It is those times, that they pick me up, dust me off and hold my hand until I am able to stand on my own again. They keep inspiring me, especially to believe that I am special.

For them and other special people who make this possible....

March 31st, 2000 was the first time I logged on as "Unicorn" and began writing. 7 years and over 140 pages later, I've learned alot about creating pages, fine tuning my work and still having a great time.
Amazing! The friends I've made, the lives that have touched with me and the lives I've reached are all countless. I'm thankful for each and every one.
I celebrate each year with an Anniversary page and a facelift of my homepage.
And always re-dedicate the poem I wrote that very first year for my friends.
