I've attempted to organize my pages by subject to make the site a bit easier to navigate.
You may find several of them more than once as they suite more than one category.
Often, things and events in my every day life have prompted poems and "ramblings".
I have passed these on to share with others who can often relate.
Always looking for a reason to celebrate when you have kids. :-)
The 4 seasons with their many differences, contain much to inspire a poem or even inspirational page.
I have taken up many causes in my time on here. Among those I hold dear are the tribute for the many men and women who have served our country.
For me, poetry is easy. At times, I even find myself think poetically. My poems cover everything from love to the Pilgrims sailing on the Mayflower. It is my true passion in writing.
I love what I do on here and the response from the readers is at times the best part.
But I wish for you to know this. I give God the credit for everything I write. I sometimes have no idea what I'm going to write until after the words are before me. I'm simply the tool He uses to get the words out, and for that, I am grateful.
He touches every aspect of my life. When people hear about my life, they ask, "How did you manage?" I didn't do it alone my friends. Whether it be in the shape of a child's hug, nature's beauty, or a wonderful friend, He has put each of these things in my life and been beside me all the way.
I try to keep my pages and poetry unbiased and non-political. I make a valiant effort to stay away from lectures and off the soapbox while online, but there are times when I just can not keep quiet.
I see so many injustices in the world and...well....I have to say something.
For 20 years, I played the game that many play, the lottery for true love. I had more than my share of bad choices, and years of lonliness.
The begining of Jan. 2003 though, I was given that winning lottery ticket from God in the way of a man named Norman Carlson.
As with most who win the jackpot, my life will never be the same.
Some say my mind is a little warped. Maybe it has something to so with having thirteen kids. Or maybe it's the company I keep. :-).
My life is a wonderful cross between Norman Rockwell and Erma Bombeck. Small every day things can create an instant tale in my mind.
I leave it up to the individual reader to decide how much of it is fact and how much is fiction.
One of my newest adventures that I'm having a wonderful time with, is writing for children. Here are a couple of stories and poems for children and children at heart.
I have met some very special people on here. People who have become my family as well as my friends both online and off.....and soon will be adding their pages here. For the moment though,

Spring
Music is one of my many passions. The music on my pages are just as important as the words. Music can reflect my feelings or even dictate my moods.
