What kind of man does it take to steal a unicorn's heart? A very special one indeed. One not only of infinite patience and a kind heart, but one with a sense of humor, a few old fashioned beliefs about the way a lady should be treated, a man of compassion for even those he does not know, an ability to humor endless ramblings about dream filled fantasies, one with enrgy, and very importantly, one with a deep faith in God.
A couple of years ago, I wrote out what I sought in a man, reaching perhaps a bit high some might think, but I was instructed by a good friend to never settle for less than my heart desired. In this frame of mind, I created this.
Does such a man exist? If so, where can you find such a man? I found him right here on the internet. "True Love" without a doubt. On August 17th, 2003, I married this man, and have had no regrets ever since.
I've written many pages for him, but still struggle to find the words to convey exactly how I feel. It's better than winning the lottery, yet in the lottery of life, I have surely won with him. So for him, I now have this response to that poem I wrote 2 years ago.
